Romeo and Juliet: Critical Thinking

Reading Shakespeare is a little bit like working on a puzzle. If you're missing a piece, you may not be getting the whole picture. When you find that piece, you're sure to feel excited.

Describe a time when you were reading Romeo and Juliet and the pieces came together - when you were able to see beyond the words on the page to get the whole picture. This could be something that was discussed as a class or in your group, or it could be something you just understood on your own.

Write about a time when you were able to think critically about what you were reading to think beyond the obvious and gain insight into why a line, concept, or character is important to the whole picture. Write one well-developed paragraph for this post.

Due Friday, May 11.
